Today we are excited to offer for sale this adorable pair of Acme china planters, featuring a whimsical motif of pixie children climbing on enchanted trees. Both pixies are wearing leaf hats and red and black outfits. The figure on the brown tree is sticking out his tongue. The figure on the green tree is climbing over the tree's nose and appears to have an anthropomorphic beetle-like body. Both pieces are marked "Acme China Made in Japan" on the bottom, with a stamp of the letters NC overlaying each other. This NC mark was used commonly on import china from Asia during this time period. Both pieces present beautifully, and are in great vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, or other damage. Don't miss out on this rare vintage find - fresh to the market!
