Presenting a wonderful pair of Art Deco Carnival glass vase's produced by the Australian glass company Crown Crystal.
Each vase features a tall slender body tapering up to reveal a large flared rim. The rim of each features a scalloped pattern running the entirety of its opening and is also known as gum tips pattern.
The body of each vase flows down to a lightly flared base. To the body of each vase a superb fluted ribbed pattern repeats around the outside. The colouring to each vase shows a classic marigold carnival glass with moderate iridescence beautifully enhancing the appearence. These would make a great addition to any Australian glass collection.
Each vase measures 11cm across at their widest at the rim and stand 22cm at the tallest. Please note slight variations in size in the millimetres as each vase is not identical.
Each vase is presented in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are some imperfections and mould marks to the glass of each vase which is a common trait to glass made during their time. This in no way detracts and is only mentioned for true complete accuracy. There is heavy wearing to the underside base rim of each vase however this only aids in authenticating their age and is also mentioned for accuracy.
They display perfectly!!!
