The artwork by Tony Theobald depicts a member of the Parachute regiment with weapon showing the distinctive red PARA beret. Above the honours of the regiment is shown including Bruneval - Normandy Landings - Breville - Arnhem 1944 - Rhine - Southern France - Oudna - Tamera - Primosole Bridge - Athens and Falkland Islands 1982.

The cover shows Airborne badge and Pegasus logo and bears 26p Isle of man stamp cancelled with 50th Anniversary of the Parachute Regiment. The cover has been flown in Britten Norman Islander from RAE Farnborough and dropped by the Red Devils Free Fall Parachute Display team.
