The cover bears Dutch 1985 stamp cancelled in Rotterdam 5 May 1985. The cover also bears 1995 19p VE Day stamp which has been added and cancelled on First Day of Issue 2 May 1995 with VE-Day postmark. The cover is signed by Squadron Leader Scott Anderson RAF, Officer Commanding the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight in 1985 who flew the cover in Lancaster PA 474 to mark the 40th Anniversary of Operation Manna.
