This adaptor features a female RJ45 socket linked with a trailing connector pin or socket to enable user specific pin configurations to be made without the need for soldering. Perfect for RS232, RS422, RS485 connection applications, Unix terminal servers etc. Universal colour coding on each pin. Complete with D-type cover and thumb screws. These adapters are used to run RS232 data over long distances (up to 100m) using UTP Cat 5e cable to bridge the gap.
