This is a HIGH PRESSURE hose and does not apply to applians that needs LOW PRESSURE regulator.
The black part has the QCC1/Type1 connection for the new style propane tank - Fits all appliances with a Type 1 connection. 3/8" female flare swivel nut which has an outside diameter of 5/8" in order to accommodate for the flare seat.
Easy to use and control flame. You can fine tune the psi to exactly what you need. This hose hooks up directly to a propane tank and 3/8" flare male and you will need to biuy an adapter if your grill has a 1/4" male pipe fitting.
Provides good control over flame intensity. Please Note : If you start out on too high of a setting the Peso will not fire off. The mixture is too rich! You have to use a striker to ignite the burner. BE CAREFUL VERY HIGH FLAME. Adjust the burner with the regulator knob to a comfortable flame and then adjust the burner accordingly.
The HIGH PRESSURE hose allows a much finer control of your burners. You can get a very low flow if you want to smoke spare ribs, for example. You can also get a large flow and very high temperatures for pizza, for example. if you set it too high this will allow too much pressure and the flame will jump off the burner.
