'The Wonder City of Oz' is the thirty fourth in the series of the Oz books by L Frank Baum and his successors.

This is the first edition of Neill's work, evident by its 16 gatherings and pictorial endpapers. Subsequent editions had plain endpapers and 32 gatherings. The first edition had bindings in blue cloth, green, beige and orange. (Greene, Handd, Martin p.86)

Written by and illustrated by John R Neill, who previously illustrated more than forty books from the Land of Oz series.

'The Wonder City of Oz' is the first of many Oz books by Neill.
