Note: 2004 and newer shift knobs normally are in color Black and this kit will also work in it except the color difference.

These are used Automatic and Geartronic shift knob button repair kit in color GREY.

The button cap is already installed onto the base, so it is ready for easier installation.

They are for the 3-pin style shift knob and will also work in the 1-pin style knobs because our units come with the base which is the same as the 1-pin units. Photos show the comparison of the two styles. If not sure about which style is currently in the car, this 3-pin repair kit will work in both styles. 

The 1-pin style originally is in color BLACK. This Grey unit will fit and work in the 1-pin style except the color difference. It could also replace the BLACK 3-pin style button. 

The shift knob has to be removed from the shifter assembly in order to do the repair. After the repair kit is installed, be sure to connect the rod into the knob BEFORE installing back into the shifter. 

Installation instruction for the button and rod (as shown in the photo) will be included.

There are many videos online showing the removal & installation process for the shift knob which is very simple and straight forward.

The compatibility table is for reference only. It may fit other years & models. Photos show some compatible shift knobs.
