1942 Great British Coin Display Gift Set

This 1942 British year set contains the complete nine coins all issued and dated from the year, namely: halfcrown, florin, Scottish and English shilling, sixpence, silver threepence (these six all struck in 50% silver), brass threepence, halfpenny and farthing (no penny was issued dated 1942).

This would make a wonderful and original gift for someone born in 1942 as 2024 will see their 82nd Birthday!

The coins are housed within a display that is held in a quality, wooden, picture frame with glass front, sized 24cm x 19cm.  The display and frame are in New/Mint condition and the coins are in Fine (or better) condition.

Note - We don't clean/polish coins as this actually devalues coinage.

Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position (beware of similar offerings that secure coins by crudely gluing them into position).
