Dalimania Perfume by Salvador Dali Eau De Toilette Spray 1.7 oz for women with box New
Dalimania Perfume by Salvador Dali,
Designed by perfumer Philippe Collet for Salvador Dalí’s “Christmas”
collection, Dalimania is a vibrant
oriental-fruity
fragrance reminiscent of a tropical getaway and a day sitting under palm
trees on the beach. This fragrance was initially introduced in 1999.
The opening notes feature orange, peach and black currant that lead into
the vivid beachside imagery of the heart - coconut surrounded by notes
of iris, jasmine, and lily-of-the-valley. A rich base
made up of sandalwood, amber, milk and vanilla provides a warmly sweet
finish. This sensory vacation wears best in the daytime during the
warmer months. Salvador Dalí, known best for his surrealist paintings
through the early 20th century, also took it upon himself to explore
other mediums of art and collaborate with other creators. This brought
him to Cofinluxe, a Paris-based perfume company, and led to the
beginning of a brand bearing his name in 1983. The fragrances, along
with their bottles and packaging, draw inspiration from Dalí’s works and
signature motifs, such as the woman’s nose and lips depicted in the
bottle designed for Dalimania.
