F-133: STANDARD VALVE WITH 12MM-1.25 THREADS WITH LEVER CLIP
Our new Fumoto Standard Valves have a larger body with a 60% larger drain, allowing for faster oil changes compared to the smaller body models for the same thread size.
Standard valves are for users who don’t need a hose connection, want to minimize a profile, or have a drain port on the bottom of the oil pan.
The Fumoto Engine Oil Drain's spring assisted ball valve replaces your standard issue oil drain plug and makes oil changes easier, cleaner, and less time consuming. Benefits of installing Fumoto valve include:
Incorporating Fumoto's most compact ball valve, Fumoto's F series valves are designed to fit cars, light trucks, vans, and select commercial engines. Constructed of forged brass and stainless steel to exacting Japanese specifications, F-series valves are designed to provide a lifetime of dependable and reliable service.
Installation
*A good rule of thumb is to install the valve by hand and then tighten an additional 1/8 - 1/4 turn with a wrench on the body. Do not over tighten.
**Some oil pans are designed with a recessed drain hole which may prevent the valve from being installed properly. If the valve cannot be tightened all the way without hitting the oil pan wall, do not install the Drain Valve on your vehicle. Adapters are available for some models.
Drive carefully at all times, and if you run over any foreign object on the road pull over and check the valve for any damage or leak. N-Series valve (with nipple to accept hose) is not recommended for passenger cars with low clearance.
