8.8" Traction-Lok Rebuild Kit with Carbon Discs

 If you are rebuilding your Mustang's Traction Lok Differential, now is the time to upgrade your stock Mustang differential to the same specs of the 2003-2004 Cobra 2005-2014 Mustang GT, & 2007-2012 GT500. This Ford Performance M-4700-C Traction Lok Clutch Rebuild Kit includes carbon fiber clutch pack, shims, S-spring and instruction sheet, which is everything needed to rebuild a Mustang 8.8" Rear Differential, whether it's 28-spline or 31-spline, minus bearings. This kit fits all 1986-2014 Mustang 28 & 31 spline 8.8" Traction-Lok Differentials and utilize Carbon fiber clutch discs designed for higher torque usage. MADE IN USA!

Installation Note

 With the differential side gear laying face down with the splined part facing you, stack the clutch pack as follows. Steel, friction, steel, steel, friction, steel, friction, shim. Use the shims included in the kit for proper pre-load.

Installation Information

 While this clutch rebuild kit will fit both 28-spline and 31-spline 8.8 differentials from 1986-2014, the included S-spring will only fit 31-spline units. When using this kit on a 28-spline differential, you must re-use the original S-spring! Or email us if you need to buy a new S-spring, we carry these as well.
