This coin functions just like original cards, and is in a protective plastic capsule. This works for all supported consoles (Nintendo Switch, 3DS, & Wii U), as well as for multiple games. What it does exactly in a different game is different for each Amiibo, I recommend checking amiibo.life to find out more for a particular card.

Item is shipped through USPS First Class Mail, with tracking.

Coins are printed on 110lb cardstock at a dedicated print shop for the best quality, and cut with a dedicated punch for perfect circles every time. To keep everything snug, I place a craft foam circle in between. If you have a preference for this color, leave a note when you purchase. If you don't, it'll be random.

To scan the Amiibo:

1. Have *Upgraded* Town Hall & campgrounds.

2. Visit Nook Stop Terminal, where you will have the option to scan Amiibos. There, you can invite them to your campground.

3. Once they're at the campgrounds, you must complete 3 tasks for them on 3 separate days before they agree to stay. Usually it's a DIY project, and if you don't have the recipe they give it to you.

All Animal Crossing Amiibos unlock a special poster that costs 1,000 bells. Not all cards will allow you to invite them to your island.

Purchasing an Amiibo means you have the ability to scan it again & again, even if they move out. You will have to re-do their campgrounds tasks.

** Coin dimensions are 26mm (1.18 in).

** It is recommended to avoid exposing the coin to extreme heat or cold, due to the sensitive nature of the NFC tag inside.

** It is also recommended to keep your coin away from magnets (and off metal surfaces, but only while actively scanning).

** Animals new to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, such as Judy, Raymond, Audie, Dom, Sherb, & Megan can be made into Amiibos AFTER Nov. 5, 2021!

** Certain cards will only unlock a poster, or allow the animal to be available for Photopia. Cards like Jack, Tom Nook, Isabelle, Tortimer, KK, and other non-villager cards. If you're unsure, please ask!
