This is an smoky amethyst crystal slice that is from the Brandberg Region of Namibia.  This has incredible color and you can see phantoms and zones of color since it is a cross section slice of a crystal!   This has tiny inclusions of hematite wisps but these are too small to see with the naked eye.   The photos here are close-up images and display the stone larger than life. These slices are all extremely interesting to look at with a loupe as their are hidden worlds in each one!

This particular one has excellent amethyst and smoky phantoms. This one is unique and had unusual growth. You can look at the phantom and tell the different stages of growth as the crystal grew. The phantom lines are like growth rings in a tree and we can see the growth stages.

This is an extremely beautiful crystal slice and the color and phantoms are extremely nice.  I bought this as a crystal slice that was cut at one of the mine camps using a generator.   It had a very poor polish so I polished this myself.

This would be great wire-wrapped or set in a pendant setting.  This is also great to just have and to hold or in a mineral or crystal display to show the interior of an amethyst crystal.  The phantom shows the different stages of growth as the crystal grew. The outer Hexagon shape is the natural shape of the crystal and hasn't been altered. The was only two cuts made on this (it takes 2 cuts to get a slice) and then the slice was polished.

I have many other amethyst crystal slices and usually I have a couple listed at all times. I have different sizes and some with varying amounts of color, different phantom patterns, inclusions, etc.  Be sure to see my other items in my ebay store and note that these may be in different categories as this is a loose stone but also a mineral specimen. I also have some without amethyst color and these are listed as "quartz".
