CROWN DEVON FIELDINGS COMMEMORATIVE MUG - CORONATION GEORGE VI MAY 1937

Wonderful example of a Crown Devon Fielding's Made in England ceramic mug issued to commemorate the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1937. Presented in lovely condition with no chips or cracks but overall crazing comensurate with age. There are raised relief depictions of the monarchs on one side and State Crown on the other. The gilt printed lettering around the rim is in very good order as is the gilt to the rim, base and handle. The red and blue bands around the base complete the design. The Crown Devon backstamp is nice and clear on the base along with the number 949.

The mug stands approx. 4" tall x 3" diameter at the rim.

The item will be securely packaged to avoid any damage in transit.
