Antique 19th Century Continental Hand-Painted Porcelain Sugar Bowl

 


Offering a stunning antique hand-painted porcelain oversized sugar bowl with lid, unmarked, possibly French.  This unique footed bowl has gilt pharaoh form handles with hand-painted horns surrounded by pink and blue flowers and green leaves on one side and a bow and quiver on the other.  The lid has a wreath of pink leaves finished with gold trim.

 

Measures 7 ¼” high to top of finial (3 ¾” high to top of bowl) x 5 ¼” in diameter (7” from handle to handle)

 

In very good antique condition, there is a small chip on the rim as shown and minor gold loss, please see all photos
