I purchased this handmade tiny cake topper bride and groom in a very high end glass and china shop that went out of business in Tucson. They were labeled "marble people" in the case. There were other pieces by the same maker depicting occupations (nurse, doctor, lawyer, etc.).
I can't tell for sure, but it appears that the head and body are made of marbles (glass, not magnetic). The feet, arms, groom's ears, and bride's arms, flowers, and dress are molded clay. Both figures are painted and (it appears) fired. The work is finely done.
SIZE: The groom is 1 3/8" tall; the bride is 1 5/8" tall. Each figure is just under 1" wide.

BACKGROUND: I recently bought a large amount of high end crystal and a few other figurines when a local store closed. I'll be listing some beautiful pieces at very attractive prices over the next few weeks. Some are older pieces not seen in retail stores for years. Many are in their original boxes.
