This 2 Reale is one of a series minted 1773-84 in Mexico City during the reign of Charles III. Assayer FM is recorded for 1773-89.

 The Mexico City mint, opened in 1538, is still in operation. Mintage: Not known, Weight: 6.00 Grams, Diameter: 27 MM, Fineness: .903 Fine Silver.
