This licensed William Morris design was first produced in 1883.
Strawberry Thief was a triumph for Morris as it marked the perfecting of the indigo-discharge technique of printing at Merton Abbey. It was inspired by William Morris's observation of the thrushes under the Strawberry nets at his home, Kelmscott Manor. We also print our licensed William Morris Strawberry Thief in a blue colour way.

With a loop to hang, you can hang them in the kitchen or over the stove for kitchen decoration so they're always handy to grab.
The fabric has been printed, quilted and manufactured in the United Kingdom, just like all our items.
Measurements: These William Morris ovengloves are 98 cm (38 1/2") long by 19 cm (7 1/2") wide.
The ovengloves contain 10oz needlepoly wadding which has been sewn with a diamond quilting. The back of the hand are protected with a 2oz coravin covered backhand. The ovenglove edge is bound with a matching Strawberry Thief binding. The oven glove conforms to British Standard BS6526 1998.

We offer free UK shipping on all orders, orders placed before 3pm will go the same day unless they are a large order in which case it will be the next working day. For abroad shipping, we post via the eBay Global Shipping Programme, please place the items into your basket and eBay will work out your postage for you based upon the weight of your item.
Returns Policy:
If you're not happy with your item, please return it to us within 14 days of purchase in it's original condition. Please note that if you've used the item or cut the fabric, we are no longer able to offer a return on your item. The customer is responsible for the safe return on the item, in the original condition, and although we are pleased to offer free postage, we cannot offer free returns.
