Watercolour more than any other medium relies upon the variable characteristics of the pigments used. Winsor & Newton Professional Water Colours use only the purest pigments, and are known for their brilliance, permanence and strength of colour.
With 79 single pigment colours in the range, Winsor & Newton offer the widest range of modern and traditional pigments for superb colour mixing. The transparency of Professional Water Colour is due to the way the pigment is dispersed during manufacture. In thin washes, the colour is present but the reflective white of the paper can still be seen. The colours provide brilliance and clean mixing and the natural characteristics of pigments mean that some will be more transparent than others.
104 out of 108 colours in the Professional Water Colour range are classed as "permanent for artists' use”, rated AA or A for permanence to ensure that the colours used today will appear the same for generations to come.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
UK DELIVERYWe use Whistl, Royal Mail or Parcelforce, unless stated or selected otherwise. Please note, where the tracking is from Whistl the final delivery will still be made by Royal Mail. Whistl process parcels by size and location and delivery to the recipients nearest Royal Mail depot for final delivery.
For delivery to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands and Channel Islands, you will be charged the same as any other UK resident for most orders. For larger parcels (weighing over 2kg or measuring over 60cm in length) we will need to send by courier and may have to either ask for additional postage or cancel the order.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
Standard delivery is Royal Mail International (untracked) unless stated otherwise. Oversized items or items weighing over 2kg will be sent by courier. In some cases, we may not be able to send, depending on location and weight of parcel - in these circumstances we will let you know as soon as possible.
RETURNS
We accept returns up until 30 days after purchase providing the item(s) are unused, undamaged and in their original state. Buyer pays return postage. While we take the greatest care with all our orders, if there is a problem or the item is damaged or faulty then please let us know and we will do what we can to help.
