Lowes Merry Go Round Story Book for Little Folks Wraparound Cover Original Art (Samuel Lowe, c. 1950s)

This extraordinary and colorful front and back cover illustration from a circa 1957 Lowes children's storybook.

It is a pure visual delight in every sense of the word.

Details include gemstones in the merry-go-round canopy and lead horse, three happy kiddies, and beautiful horses, with rich color throughout.

The art is in gouache with airbrushed highlights on reinforced Bristol board measuring 22.5" x 15", with an image size of 20" x 13.75".

Outer border edges show some wear.
