Skarr Armor Kevlar Fabric vs 9mm, 40Cal, 357mag

PLEASE NOTE: THIS LISTING IS FOR UD COATED/LAMINATED KEVLAR SHEETS, THEY ARE NOT WOVEN CLOTH TYPE KEVLAR FABRIC (SEE 2nd PHOTO & READ DESCRIPTION BELOW)

PRODUCT INFORMATION:

- Unidirectional ballistic sheets made of DuPont Kevlar®

- MADE IN USA

- Only one on eBay that is certified by NIJ in conjunction with a currently listed body armor. Other sellers may claim their products are "IIIA", it really means nothing without the official NIJ certification.  Here is the NIJ link for verification:  https://nij.ojp.gov/topics/equipment-and-technology/body-armor/ballistic-resistant-armor#-1

- Way higher density than woven Kevlar fabric and UHMWPE (by almost 30%), which provides better ballistic performance with less layers which makes the final product lighter, more flexible and thinner.  You will feel the difference if you ever get shot.

- Better trauma resistance performance than regular woven style Kevlar fabric and PE with the same number of layers.

- More cost-effective than UHMWPE fabric like Dyneema for the same level of protection.

- 300% more heat resistant than UHMWPE fabric such as Dyneema, which means 300% more protection for contact gunshots.

- 5 to 7 times stronger than steel in strength

- UD Kevlar® sheets will last tremendously longer than UHMWPE because it deteriorates slower than PE fabric.  This is why militaries around the world prefer Kevlar over UHMWPE.  NIJ's recommendation is 5 to 7 years to upgrade. Anyone who tells you their product lasts 60+ years is simply not true but a marketing tactic.

- What is the difference between UD Kevlar and Woven Kevlar?  Woven Kevlar fabric is mostly used in fragmentation protection like in explosive blankets or shields.  It has to be mixed with other ballistic materials to be effective for gun shots in regular body armors. UD sheets can be used for ballistic protection all by itself.
