Knitting pattern/instructions to make Lady's 1940s patternd/Fair Isle cardigan with collar. Long or short sleeves.

Size: to fit 34 - 36  inch bust if knitted in 3ply.  You could make it larger if knitted in 4ply or DK yarn, using larger needles.  Please knit a tension square before starting to ensure the finished garment is to the size you require.

Materials:
3ply yarn -
  • Long sleeves - 5 ounces (approx 142 grams) in background colour, 4 ounces (approx 114 grams) in a contrast shade or colour.
  • Short  sleeves - 4 ounces (approx 114 grams) in background colour, 3 ounces (approx 85 grams) in a contrast shade or colour.
  • Pair each No. 9  (3.75 mm) and No. 12  (2.75 mm) knitting needles.

Postage and packaging costs quoted are for mainland UK via Royal Mail. Certain areas of Scotland and Ireland may unfortunately incur additional postage charges.  I am happy to search for the cheapest postage cost for delivery to non-standard service areas, please ask before bidding.

From August 2020 eBay are charging sellers for handling payments per individual transaction.  As such I will continue to combine postage for multiple patterns 'paid for separately', however, unfortunately I cannot refund the new eBay payment handling charges.  Please purchase multiple patterns together in one transaction for automatic postage discounts.
