This very interesting book is meant to be a companion to the author's first book on the history of archaeology, Gods, Graves, and Scholars.  The book is in very good condition;  the cover is clean with minor shelf wear including scuffing, and/or bumping.  The spine is tight and the pages are clear and sharp.   The acetate dust jacket is torn and in fair condition, but the slip case has minor wear and is in very good condition.  See photographs. 

This is a very interesting book and it would be an excellent addition to anyone's book collection.

The book is about 8-1/2" x 11" x 1", 326 pages + index,  and about 4-5 lbs.+/-  with packaging.
