The Mustad tackle protection range of products are constructed using a high density Neoprene foam material which has a low compression. This allows it’s material the ability to return to it’s original thickness after prolonged compressive stress.
Neoprene is an inert material which does not react with chemicals s as oil and grease commonly used on fishing reels or any sprays used on rod guides against corrosion resistance. Neoprene is also resistant to weathering, especially from UV rays which may cause flex cracking, making it an ideal material for protecting your tackle in outdoor situations.
