After the foreword by Heike Schiller, until 2002 head of the project area of design in crafts at the Design Center Stuttgart and the introduction to the topic by Helga and Richard Becker, the artists are first introduced, illustrated with impressions of their surroundings.
Following the respective report you will find a series of pictures with the works of the respective turner.
Interspersed in between are the articles by Georg Panz.

The Höpfigheim turner Helga Becker gives a lecture on turning in Germany at the largest European turner symposium.
Before that, she had traveled through the federal states with her husband and had interviewed Drechsler. Her husband, a photographer, photographed them in their environment and recorded their works in the studio.
The information they had received and the atmospheric images were beyond the scope of a lecture, so they decided to make a book out of it. The editor of the magazine "Drechseln", Georg Panz, supported them with articles about the history and current status of turning.
This is how "Passion - Artists at the Drechselbank" came about - the first book to present German turners and their works.
From the foreword by Heike Schiller:
