Presenting an authentic 1920s Art Deco Australian Marigold Carnival glass Swan Master bowl produced by the Australian glass company Crown Crystal.
This wonderful piece features a wide set waved rim. Appearing to the inside of the bowl a beautiful band of vines, Fern leaf and Christmas bell flowers encircles the inside of the bowl drawing attention to the centre Swan. The lighter Marigold Carnival glass colouring creates a beautiful more subtle display quality.
The Swan is shown floating atop water with the detailed water ripples adding a wonderful effect. Below the Swan and water the raised design number 4679 is present.
This is a wonderful piece of Australiana that would make a fine addition to any Australiana or glass collection.
This bowl measures 23.5cm in diameter and stands 8.5cm at its tallest.
Presented in excellent near Antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The base also shows original age related wear, a good sign as it only aids in authentication of the age.
It displays amazingly!!!
