Arbutin is mainly used for advanced cosmetic as light toner and whitening agent ; Arbutin can be made into skin cream, medicated cream, senior pearl cream, etc., not only beauty, but also can diminish inflammation, fight excitant.

Recommended concentration of Alpha arbutin is 0.2-2%, added to water phase of formula. 

Alpha arbutin can be paired with other skin brighteners such as kojic acid, tranexamic acid, vitamin C, AHA acid or niacinamide. These ingredients work on the same pathway leading to pigmentation and they have a stronger effect when used together.
