An absolutely gorgeous antique 19thc French cotton in a most beautiful meadow floral design.

Lovely tones of lavender & raspberry pink on a sightly off white ground.

The pattern has a lovely tender simplicity about it. To me, very similar to the beautiful simplicity of prairie or the earlier regency type botanical florals.

I'd say somewhat mid in scale with smaller elements. About quilting or blouse weight.

Adore this, a beautiful example of French 19th century textile printing.

Wonderful in any project.

***Condition is very nice, lightly used in the past. Hues are a bit time softened which is perfect on this.

It has been freshly hand washed and washed very well. I noted a very subtle hint of random very pale patina but not detracting in the least. A few very petite teeny fiber breaks (pinhead) in a couple of areas. Again not detracting but mentioning for accuracy. Very strong good quality cotton.

***Measures 30" wide by 1 yard long ~I can keep up to "3" yards uncut as I am working with several lengths of this one.
