Absolutely sublime antique French chintz interiors fabric. Simply as divine as they come.

A floral urn type design in a grand large scale.

Beautiful tones of red, a chartreuse yellow and taupey gray with blue.

English sourced I believe French printed. I see some elements in this design that go back to some of the 18thc Jean Baptiste Pilliment period textiles. So certainly has a French influence.

This came to me on a roll and I felt like I was rolling out a red carpet as I unrolled it~ so special in it's nuance.

Grand, elegant. Makes a bold fabulous statement.

Appears very well maintained for its age so must have meant a lot to someone to keep it so well preserved through the years.  

Best estimate is pre 1930's or before.

Perfect for so many special projects. Could create the entire ambiance of a room on it's own.

I am offering this piece by the aprox. repeat (closest to photo 2) as by the yard would cut into the design and would lose the important aspects to some degree.

So measures ~ 31" wide (original width) by aprox. 23" long.I can keep your length selected continuous.
