Premium White
Aluminum Oxide - 25 lbs - Blasting Cabinet Abrasive Media.
Condition is New. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
White aluminum oxide (UniblancTM) is at least 99.5% ultra-pure. Used often in the medical and dental industries because it causes less irritation than alternatives. It
can be used for regular sandblasting, especially in places where
contamination from other metal oxides must be kept to a minimum, such as
in the aerospace and nuclear industries. It sparkles when light hits
it and has been used for decorative purposes. Very friable material.
We offer our white aluminum oxide in three different package sizes:
4 lbs.,
25 lbs., and
50 lbs. Our 50 lbs. package is shipped in two 25-pound boxes and the others come in a single box.
We are able to precisely size to any grit and offer grit sizes
16, 24, 36, 46,
60,
100,
120, 150,
180, 220.

Looking for a more affordable alternative?
Try our aluminum oxide EconoblastTM! It's a special blend of white, pink, and brown aluminum oxides, as well as other abrasives that makes for a tougher and more economic choice in many applications. It performs as well as, if not better than, white aluminum oxide in most cases.
Aluminum Oxide
Synthetic
Aluminum Oxide is a silica-free, inert compound with a tough,
crystalline structure and a uniform hardness of 9 on the MOHS scale
(Diamond is 10). It performs as an excellent blast cabinet media where
the grit is contained for re-use, capable of up to 30 or more
reuses. These properties combined with uniform particle sizing provide
high-speed production with excellent visibility (very low dusting) and
lower air requirements. Unlike most other blast media, which are
natural or by-products, synthetic Al2O3 has uniform properties without random natural weaknesses, making it the most widely used abrasive in the world.
Why Use Aluminum Oxide?
- Most popular abrasive media for cabinet blasting
- Most extensive range of grit sizes
- Good recyclability
- Precisely graded into specific sizes
- Usable at lower air pressures, reducing compressed air costs
