Arrived quicker than expected. Bought it to hold my kids games and controllers which it does exceptionally well. Assembly to assemble. Took my son about 20 minutes to put together. Doors actually open really smooth as they don’t bind or get stuck like some other cabinets I have bought.

The holes are not drill all the way and one hole on the door for the sliders is not drilled at all. Unless you have a battery power drill I wouldn't bother. Using a screw driver makes it near impossible to put the screws in at all.

It fell apartI had to put it out to the garbage because the cabinet fell apart.I just out the money we paid for it. It is junk.

Over all just a bad product. Assembly is easy however the sides were not cut evenly so my husband had to saw one side down. 2 of the cams broke, and was disturbingly unsteady and wobbly. I wish I never spent $200 on this. I also didn't realize when I bought this but the middle shelf (that keeps the whole unit together) you cannot move. Thus you only get 4 shelves to fit dvds. Leaving you with 2 shelves that are tiny. You will only be able to fit cds there. This was no my intention..just so disappointing.

A little more difficult to assemble than expected.

To start with it is not wood it's OSB which is glue and wood chips. Secondly the pieces don't fit together like they should, like the doors once they're in you can't move them because the upper pegs sticks out and it should have been recessed. Third once the doors are in you are unable to get cds or dvds in the middle out. So in the end this product was very poorly designed for the function it was designated to do.

It's only been a few months, but so far holding up nicely. Have tried many diff brands & styles to no avail. All these put-2gthr shelving units always end up in the trash. Almost wasn't enough storage 4 all of my media. Have DVDs, BRDs, audio cassettes & VCR cassettes. Pretty versatile in setting up room 4 multiple types of media. Loved the sliding glass doors, they make 4a more expensive appearance. Base is pretty sturdy compared to most similar products.

I like it wish the material of cabinet was of better quality. It functions well and compliments the other pieces in the room.

YES it DID! And what a task it was, to house my scattered collection that now sits proudly in its beautiful and profound media cabinet. Now I can slide my glass paneled doors to reveal what selection I may peruse for the night! And rest, knowing my videos and dvd's are 'safe at home!'

Very hard to put together and flimsy. Doesn’t fit together properly. Husband put this together and the outside is perfectly lined up but the doors are too far from the rail. Poor design. Not worth the money.

The doors are nice....that is where the up side ends.The framing is made of sawdust board that crumbles to the touch. The dowels are loose in the holes (surprise, surprise since it is sawdust board). The plastic anchors that are supposed to hold the capture bolts pull out before they can the bolts can be secured. Not worth the money. Really not worth the shipping.IF the item could be assembled and used, the storage capacity would be nice.Since it is too much trouble to return, I will get out the glue bottle and see if I can salvage any part of it.

I use it in my living room for DVD's & paperbacks. It looks great & keeps everything handy. I now have 2. The 1st filled up fast & I pestered Hubby until he agreed to put another one together. My DVD's are under control. I love it.

Don't buy this, nothing wanted to work. The cam locks didn't want to go in and finally when I got them in, they cracked the wood. Just go to a store and buy already assembled. Would've looked nice thou. I want a refund!!

This bookshelf looks big but is actually very small, and I remember it is not worth the price! It is not an open door but a sliding door.

I really needed this to organize my CDs, they were in baskets and impossible to find. It works great. It wasn't that hard to assemble even for an old hippie. It's reflective of the price paid, that is to say it is serviceable but not of great quality or stability. Affordable is the key for my purposes. Now for the vinyl, oh my!

The quality of this item is very poor and worth about $80 at best. I would not advise buying it.

This was the prefect cabinet that I needed to store my DVD and CD music. I must say I need another one to put the remaining music and movies but they were distributed evenly to other locations. The top of cabinet was helpful to use for nice figurines.

Last Christmas my son got us a turntable and regifted our old albums, that we had given to him years ago. Now the problem was, where to store the albums? I came across this little gem, and is perfect. It has adjustable shelves, making whatever you are planning to use it for, will fit. Almost all the albums fit in it...wish I had room for another for the rest of them! Guess back to the 70's and find a milk crate!

The screws are very difficult to manage. I suggest using an electric screwdriver. Some holes are not really lined up perfectly so the screw may want to go in a little crooked.

This DVD cabinet is quite heavy and, as a result, is very sturdy. We have it on a hardwood floor and it doesn't wobble at all. We would add to the other comments that the DVD storage capacity could be improved if the manufacturer would re-position the shelf support holes. As it is currently, you can only use four of the six adjustable shelves if you're planning to use the case 100% for DVDs resulting in a lot of "empty" space that's not usable. You could lay some DVDs flat-side down in the empty space and pile them up I guess to store a few more. Kudos to the manufacturer for separating all the little screws, dowels and cams in separate plastic bags with clear identification in stead of one large bag with a hundred pieces. I would have given the case a 5-star review if not for a couple of nagging assembly issues. The first was that two pieces were mislabeled and, unfortunately it was the two that were used in Step 1. So while I'm trying to get used to the pictorial assembly instructions, it didn't help that I was trying to complete Step1 on the wrong piece. No wonder it didn't fit. And secondly, there are a number of tiny Phillips screws used in the assembly and the pre-drilled starter holes were not very deep. Not a problem if the screws were of the self-tapping variety. My forearm got tired trying to get these screws to bite and I had to resort to using a drill to create better starting holes for them. Otherwise, the assembly was straight-forward.

Easy to assemble, sturdy, holds all of the CDs I have without additional storage needed before. Exceeds my expectations.

The Styrofoam packing went everywhere and was broke into little pieces upon arrival. The supposedly pre drilled holes in the doors for the eight brackets dont align right or aren't there at all. Then you need to secure the back on with said screws as well and there are no predrilled holes. Best of luck with getting them in.

Very pleased with the quality of this cabinet. Assembly was easy and took about 2 hours.There was an adjusting screw missing on one of the rollers for the sliding door but made a quick call to the manufacturer who sent a roller assembly out the next day.Would highly recommend.

Sturdier than expected. Went together quickly with no issues. Packaging was great, no damage or scuffing. Doors are adjustable so you can level them off to close flush.

Careful putting it together. I would have felt better if I had used some glue.

First of all, the 'espresso' version of this media cabinet is basically just solid black. Don't get your hopes up for a color match with anything that is actually espresso.The runners on the doors are super loose, enough to the point that the doors slam into the side of the cabinet when they're closing, even without any significant amount of force.

Is is super small. This is a toy! You can't put the smallest book on earth.

This product was easy to put together, even though you really have to pay attention when assembling the doors to go on. However, the back wall is the hardest part of the cabinet to put on. Even though everything is screws, there are no pre-made holes in the back of the cabinet in order to screw the screws which makes it very hard to do. Other than that, it is very easy and a beautiful piece to have in the home.

It took a bit of time to put together. Not all of the "pre-drilled" holes are in the right place. There are also no holes to attach the back panel so you'll have to drill your own. Note that the wheels ship in a fully retracted position. There is a small screw at the top of the wheel assembly that you will need to adjust in order for everything to fit together properly. Overall, its a very nice media cabinet.

Looks good but not super sturdy. I would not recommend if you were placing in a carpeted surface. Seems flimsy until you put the back panel on it but still a bit wobbly. Also the packaging broke up during shipment and foam was sticking to all the parts. Ended up on the floor and all over everything.

I like having glass doors to protect and store discs. This is an OK unit. Assembly requires the mid shelf to be in a position that will way underserve your DVD or Blu-ray discs. Force it to the level above it, and you'll be able to have another level of storage. This is a cheapo assembly, and has limitations, but I do like it. You get what you pay for here. If you want something amazing you'll pay hundreds of dollars more. So this is priced right for what it is.

Sequence of some of the instructions defy logic. DON’T put the doors on or the shelves in prior to screwing on the back panel. Otherwise it seems like a fairly good item.

I really wanted to like this shelve unit - an dit looked so good... until when we finally put it together, both door panels were too short - the pegs won't stay in the tracks and causing both doors falling off. So we have put them both aside, and been using the shelves without the doors... Such a shame. The assembly was bnot bad, but some of the wholes were not drilled properly, And the back panel - it provided black screws for securing tit, but would have been a lot easier ion just used nails and a hammer. Overall, it looks great, but since both glass door panels were non-functional, i have to give it barely a 2 star.

Does not store 150+ dvds. Was not even able to get all the shelves in. Not space like it said it was. I would not buy again. Not very sturdy. Very wobbly.

This product will be firewood. It wobbles, the top and bottom are so far apart the doors don’t even sit in it. I will be asking for a refund

When putting the cabinet together the doors were not fitting. I went in to the reviews and saw that the wheels can be adjusted to make the door fit. Just unscrew the screw in the middle of the wheel and lift the wheel out then tighten the screw and VOILA it will fit!The manufacturer really should include these instructions with the item.So I am very happy with the cabinet, it holds all of my CDs and DVDs - It's nice looking and doesn't take up a lot of space.Once in place and filled I wouldn't try to move it much, it might be a little unstable to be moved while filled.

Cheaply made, not sturdy, due to the middle shelf, after adjusting shelf’s to fit dvd cases there are 2 shelves that cannot be used unless you lay the dvd on its side!

Quality Control is lacking. Various holes are misdrilled & misaligned. Wooden dowel holes are too big, too deep. Poor packaging allows minor damage. (scratches & chips) Two different kinds of board for same type pieces (Some MDF, some chip board) Overall, just an average product. Priced too high for the subpar quality. Will not be buying this brand again.

When I got home I noticed the shipment box had been broken, scratched, etc all the way through to the product. Product itself is damaged. Needs replacing. 6/8/2020

What a mess. Almost every piece had chips in the top coat. Aweful to assemble. You'll need a power screw driver. None of the parts for together right, and some of the predrilled holes for the door hardware were missing. Only thing holding it together is the flimsy cardboard backing. If it weren't so heavy and hard to assemble I'd return it.

Very nice cabinet, a different website had the same cabinet for $100 more. Always compare before you buy.

Assembly was easy enough and instructions were SUPER easy to follow and I loved the actual screw's to hold the back on instead of those dumb nails that are usually used. Assembly would be a 5 star except that the door glide holes didn't align to the holes in the doors....no issue , a 1/16" drill bit and cordless drill and presto , I made my own guide holes. I did add magnetic door catches to help keep the doors closed thanks to my nosy cat.

After reading all the reviews about the screw holes for the wheels being wrong I was prepared with my power drill and that issues became as I had zero problems fixing that issue and the wheels on the door can be adjusted for a perfect fit. Overall I am very happy, it took me all of 20 minutes to build and now it looks great and was perfect for my needs. I am only storing CDs, so to me its a 9 out of 10....

It looks nice enough. The instructions were incorrect on multiple accounts. We figured it out. The tracks for the doors are plastic and the doors won't true up so there are gaps on the sides and we cannot get them level either. We have built many pieces of furniture - this one is not the best. Also, the shelves won't arrange to install all of them unless you like to store your DVD and BlueRay's on their sides. The capacity is accurate, it will hold over 200, they will just be in both directions.

Not impressed for the price....its flimsy and super small. In the sample pictures they have above, the couch must be tiny next to the cabinets. Disappointed in the purchase. Not sturdy, could break any moment now, and only holds shot glasses and small knick knack displays...no DVDs...

This was so flimsy, even with tightening everything and placing the doors. There were two pages of instructions that were missing. There were also no pre-drilled holes to place the screws, so unless you have a power drill (that's what we ended up using), good luck putting this together with the tiny thing that was provided.This is beautiful in theory, but actual garbage when put together.

Beautiful cabinet for particle board, but it isn't quite as sturdy as I wanted it to be, I suggest adding 4 90 degree braces on the inner corners to add stability.... Doors could use magnetic closures too, they don't stay shut very well

CHINSY! Not sturdy at all, prefab piece of poop. Looks expensive but all the wood was scratched before coming out of the box, including a scratch all the way down the side of the outside wood finish from the factory! Product has too many shelfs and WILL NOT fit all dvd sized cases. Pictures used to advertise are missing a shelf just to accommodate dvds and bluerays. Im not going to return this cause twking it apart might completely ruin it sonim going to hide it in a dark corner but I Will NEVER buy again and expected MUCH MORE from Atlantic products.

Easy to assemble, but my top piece was made way off. The way it fits is off, the back does not line up at all, the sliding doors now tilt back slightly and the back panel is bent and doesn't fit correctly. I've re read the instructions a bunch of times, I don't know what I did wrong. But it seems it was just made faulty. Frustrating.

Poorly designed cabinet. Not for books, dvds or Blu-ray’s unless you lay them on their side. The glass doors do not fit well. If not careful the doors can fall out. So many little screws and some of the holes are not lined up. We took our time putting it together making sure we did it right. The only good thing was it was so well packed in the box that once it’s out you cannot put it back in. No way to return it. Very unhappy with it.

Over the years I have put together many cabinets, tables, etc so I have a good idea of what to do when the do-it-yourself project becomes problematic. This one was unnecessarily difficult.1. The doors are about 1/2 inch too short to latch on to the top of the track. I had to drill new holes for the each of the top stoppers about 1/2 higher so the doors can fit properly.2. The cabinet remains very shaky until you attach the backboard. However, while there are pre-drilled holes in the backboard, there are no pre-drilled holes for the cabinet. You have to use a drill to make holes to screw them in. The cabinet remain a little shaky. I installed two bracket inside between the top and the side for it to be as sturdy as I expect it should be.3. The Amazon page claims the cabinet holds 216 blu-rays or 192 DVDs. What it doesn't tell you is that the cabinet is designed to only hold to rows of upright DVDs or DVDs on the top half and 2 rows of upright DVDs or blu-rays on the bottom half. The remaining two middle shelves cannot fit standing blu-rays, they have to be placed lying down and piled on top of each other. This cabinet is designed to fit mixed collection of DVDs and CDs, or just CDs, but not just only DVDs or blue-rays. If I knew that I would not have purchased this cabinet.

Horribly measured, the doors don’t fit meaning they are too small for the whole thing. It feels like it’s going to tip over if you put something on it. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

As others have stated, this is not solid wood furniture. This cabinet is particle board and veneers held together by wood dowels and short metal screws, not terrible, but not that sturdy either. Moving this around would require removing the contents of the cabinet or it will almost certainly spread apart, warp, or even just collapse altogether. The main body is the standard 'H' format used by most simple self-build kits, and as such relies on that center fixed shelf to align itself.A more solid foundation might be gained by using small dabs of wood glue when inserting the dowels, as the dowels in the unit I have were loose no matter which side I inserted them into. Additionally the metal screws did not pull all sides together evenly, which suggests some post assembly engineering is needed to firm it up. I experienced no troubles with the glass doors, yet they seem loose because of the uneven assembly of the main cabinet.In regards to capacity, CD's are the best commodity to store here, as the shelves are poorly spaced with the center fixed shelf making any arrangement awkward.I am generally pleased with the look and capacity, and will order more of this cabinet to get my collection off of open shelf units. I plan to use some glue and possibly different screws to hold the main cabinet together, and will edit this review when that is complete.

This product has too many pieces and the instructions are horrible. Could not understand on where the pieces goes. The instructions are vague.

I love the look of the product after it was put together, but it was very difficult to put together. We had to drill our own holes for the screws to go in as they were so uneven or nonexistant and there is a ton of tiny screws to put in. Even after drilling new holes the screws wanted to go in uneven because they were very cheap. It took a good 2-3 hours to get it together.

We really like this cabinet for what we bought it for, to display some knick knacks and such. When it initially arrived it was missing the top, but kudos to customer service. They gave us no grief and we received the top in five days. As a side note when we assembled the cabinet the doors did not fit well and were hard to slide. After a bit of looking we found the bottom wheels are adjustable and we were able to perfectly align the doors. This wasn't mentioned in the instructions, so only three stars on the ease of assembly. All in all very pleased.

The product was fairly easy to assemble, however there was a major design flaw with the doors. Both doors were not tall enough so when the brackets were installed on top of the doors, the pegs which fit into a sliding groove would not reach resulting in the sliding doors falling out and if not caught would crash to the floor! In order to resolve the serious design flaw, had to drill new holes to re-align and attach the top brackets to a higher position (see photos) to keep the doors from falling out. Unfortunately, by doing this the brackets are no longer hidden behind the doors and are visible, but at least the doors no longer fall out. I strongly do not recommend the purchase of this product!

What a waste this is below sturdiness it’s absolutely garbage

I’m giving it 3 stars for the following reasons- board L was a nightmare. Not all the holes were pre-drilled and the fasteners are in the wrong hole- pre-drilled holes were missing on the doors for the wheels.Additional tools and supples were needed to complete.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!! Wish I would have read the negative reviews before buying this. Put this entire thing together just to have the doors not fit. They are not tall enough to stay on the track. I want my money back!

Box arrived in good shape unlike many other reviews, and all parts were in order and well labeled. Only issue is the predrilled nail holes are off-center (16 on each door), so had to manually power them in. Otherwise, this would get 5 stars, as it is a great looking medium-sized media cabinet!

It's not the sturdiest furniture I've ever bought but as long as I don't move it around a lot I'm sure it's sturdy enough for DVD's and bluerays. It is a good looking unit and it assembled easily, glad I read the comments online when it came to the wheels on the doors.

This cabinet is deceiving. The advertised pictured indicates 7 shelves for DVD storage. We did receive seven shelves with the unit but to store Blu Ray or DVD's the spacing inside of the cabinet only allowed for four shelves and two additional shelves for CD's sized media. The cabinet itself looks exactly like picture, the best part of the cabinet are the doors because of the real glass, the remainder of the cabinet is poorly designed and wobbly. I would not move it as the integrity of the structure will not hold. The backing is three pieces of cardboard duct taped together. The cabinet was not easily assembled as the predrilled holes were not even causing it to be out of square. The finished product is functional and looks good though. We would not have purchased this if the reviews had been more telling.

Looks very nice when assembled

This cabinet was incredibly difficult to put together. As other reviewers mentioned, the doors are simply too short to stay in if you install as instructed. I ended up screwing in the doors’ wheel attachments significantly higher to bridge the gap and get the doors to stay. Also, the dowel rods provided are too small, so the entire cabinet ends up being very flimsy.

I was not impressed with this product. I had to re-drill the holes for the doors and re-enforce the back. The cabinet was flimsy and the material cheap. The cover of the pressed wood looks nice but we will see how long that lasts. Nice concept however i feel i payed far to much for something i could have built with nicer materials for the same price. If you want a temporary solution and intend to replace after about a year then this is it.

I am disappointed that my media cabinet arrived damaged. Although it was obviously the box had been roughly handled, it was also very poorly packed and there was very little protection for the product inside. What flimsy little bit of foam there was, has literally disintegrated into dust. The corner of one of the doors was cracked pretty badly. This is a big, heavy item and I was hoping that they would just send me a replacement door. Unfortunately all of their return options, only allows for a complete return of the item, which is not physically feasible for me as I cannot handle the product on my own. I'd be happy to return just the door. Unfortunately I'm going to be stuck with a defective product.

Product is not good enough when it comes to stability. I need to put extra screws on the sides to make sure the whole thing will hold together.
