Folks you'll have to help us out with this one.  I'm not 100% sure I understand what this is.  I *think* it's an adapter to fit one kind of lens to a differing kind of camera.  I know the M/MD are Minolta, but I'm afraid I don't know well enough to tell if this is for the Minolta body to fit a differing kind of lens... or is it's for some other kind of camera body/mount to use a Minolta lens.  I like to joke that "I don't brain good"... but seriously, I just can't make heads or tails out of this.  I'm going to have to trust YOUR judgement that this is what you need...and, of course, if you need any additional photos showing the mounts, I'll be more than happy to oblige.

I'm going to assume the case isn't the original for the converter, because it doesn't close far enough to snap.  This is the case it was sitting in, so I'm going to keep them together, since chances are you'll find a use for it.
