A most charming 1940's chinoiserie cotton in a marvelous pastoral figural design with pagodas~ the printing was meant to look like embroidery or needlepoint. Printed but similar to the older chinoiserie block printed silks from this period of time which mimicked brocades. But this again, is a printed cotton.
