Noro Magazine Issue #12

27 Knit Hits for a Fabulous Spring (Spring-Summer 2018)

Original Yarn: Nishiki and Kumo which were discontinued 2020. Sonata was carried until 2022 until we sold out.

Update 2024:

Sonata has been rebooted. We carry full pattern support and brand-new colors as a featured collection for Spring 2024. Those should be coming out in March-April 2024. Need it sooner? Let us know. We probably have it or can order it and set up a listing for you.

Nishiki is closest to Uchiwa from Spring 2023. Both have a silky-spongey texture and thick and thin slubby fiber. The major difference is that Uchiwa is a slightly lighter weight with a different gauge. Mrs. Knits always recommends reading labels carefully and make a swatch before attempting to change yarns.

YARN UPDATE: Sonata, Nishiki and Kumo. All are cotton blends, and Sonata has a touch of silk and a viscose to give it a pretty sheen. Nishiki is a cotton with a silky texture and drape. We recommend considering Akari, Kakigori or Sonata when it arrives.

Why charge more than the cover price?
Unlike yarn, magazines are much heavier, and so more expensive to ship. The increased price still dneeds to fully cover our shipping cost.  However, with 2 magazines, you can expect a shipping upgrade to Priority Mail, and there are discounts for 3 or more magazines, present and past.
