A French account of the 1851 Great Exhibition in London, a monumental and grand exhibition.
Illustrated with a frontispiece.
Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper, 'William Henry Child, October 1851'.
CONDITION
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A few minor marks to the boards. A little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Minor discolouration to the spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some spots.
