For sale is (1) 1991 Pacific NOLAN RYAN Texas Rangers Bloody Lip Card #92.  If you recall, in a game on September 8, 1990 against the Kansas City Royals, Bo Jackson hit a hard ground ball back up the middle that struck Nolan Ryan in the face in the top of the second inning.  The ball bounced away but Ryan was able to pick it up and throw out the speedy Bo Jackson at first base.  When Ryan returned to the mound, his face and jersey were covered in blood which is depicted on this unusual card.  Ryan stayed in the game until the eighth inning and the Texans Rangers won the game on a Rafael Palmeiro walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning.
