Rotala Rotundifolia Blood Red is a very appealing aquarium stem plant. High light levels, good fertilization and the addition of CO2 will result in beautiful growth and deep red coloration. High iron level will help bring out fiery colours. In its submerged form leaves are longer and more narrow. In emersed form Rotala has green, round leaves. After planting in an aquarium plant will go through transition period. During that time you will see how they will be changing shape and the colour of the leaves.
