VERY SPECIAL WWII ERA COLLECTABLE SHOE - Blue beading across the RED VELVET vamp of each shoe reads "PHILLIPINES".  🌲This 1940's sandal was apparently a Christmas gift for a girlfriend, wife from a soldier serving there.  "Merry Xmas" and a holiday design handpainted on each footbed - and baubles on the handcarved palm trees. Handcarved tiki huts in classic Christmas colors.

Each SHOE is handcarved from a single piece of wood - vamp is red velvet, and ankle straps are fabric. Bright paint in good condition.  Metal buckle.

2 1/2" across ball of foot

2 1/2" heel

Measures as a 7 - 7 1/2 ?  However, shoes of this style and age are usually purchased as collectable display pieces.  GOOD CONDITION, BUT FRAGILE because of age.
