Antique Chinese Enamel Cloisonne Opium Box Safe Container Late Qing Dynasty. Amazing piece with atypical design. Excellent condition. One of the most beautiful opium boxes I have seen in this style. Each side has a medallion with a bird in the center and Chinese treasures on the sides and lid. Great shape for its age with only minor pitting, but causing some noticeable wear on the bottom of the piece and along edges of lid. Interior enameled blue.
