Cryptocoryne undulata 'red' can take a wide range of conditions and still thrive. Great for beginners and up, longer leaves exhibit a reddish hue under more intense lighting. Cryptocoryne undulata is a very vigorous Cryptocoryne that will grow equally well as an aquarium plant or as a terrarium plant. There are two color forms of the aquarium plant Cryptocoryne undulata and we sell the the red form which has a reddish color in the submersed growth. Cryptocoryne undulata is one of the easiest varieties to grow. A great plant for the beginner it will tolerate almost any condition from low to high light and does not need supplemental CO2. Cryptocoryne undulata will thrive under medium light and regular fertilizer applications.
