Beautifully high end vintage 1940's Jean Louise dress I believe this is a early 40s as you can see there is some 30's influence there fabric is a high quality crepe backed satin in a shimmering copper color fabric belt has amber beads, iridescent white sequins, rhinestones, 4 stones are missing and some tan pearls, some of these have lost there coating I believe the sequins are the old gelatin ones belt snaps in front flounce ruffle hem line brass zippers at the cuffs brass side and back of the neck Lightning zippers, Lightning is a early Talon zipper cowl collar fairly thick shoulder pads darts up from the waist and double darts in from the sides back has double darts up from the waist set in sleeves hang loose then taper to the wrists such a beautiful dress but does have some fixable issues, back waist seam needs a few stitches, small tear on the ruffle, some age related spotting on the bust and a few scattered on the skirt, all in all still a remarkable dress BUST 34
