Description
Pictures are incorrect! New version comes with 1) rounded edges and 2) on-board blue LED. If you don't want the blue LED, write it as a message to a seller; otherwise you will receive version with blue LED illuminated, indicating presence of -5V.
I recommend watching the video about the original Voltage Blaster on Phil's Computer Lab YouTube channel, but basically this ISA card builds the missing -5V from the -12V rail available on modern ATX power supplies.
This adapter takes one
ISA slot, but if you don't want to waste an ISA slot, check my other
items for an in-line solution that uses no ISA slots.
Adapter cable not included. You will need an ATX-AT adapter cable to use an ATX power supply.
