| | Synopsis: | Unit One (Rejseholdet) is a Danish television crime series starring Charlotte Fich and Mads Mikkelsen, Produced by Danmarks Radio (DR), the producer of the BAFTA award wining series' The Killing and Borgen. The entire series revolves around an elite mobile police task force called 'Unit One' that travel around Denmark helping local police divisions solve sensational crimes, with the cases being based upon actual true-life incidents, such as murders, kidnappings, cross-border sex-trafficking and child pornography. Consists of 8 full length episodes and also stars Trine Pallensen (The Killing 3) and Lars Beygmann (Borgen).
When a female police commissioner who has ambitions on behalf of her gender selects detective Ingrid Dahl as the new head of a Danish police travel unit, it does not come without problems for the young detective. She struggles to unite career and family, and she has to establish a cooperation with a team of detectives including the man who had expected to take her job. However, the initial uncertainty soon turns to trust and even friendship, and the team proves its worth investigating the nation's most vicious cases of murder and violent crime.
