| | | | Synopsis: | After the world is ravaged by a zombie apocalypse, a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), find themselves traveling in search of a safe and secure home. As they struggle to fend off the zombie hordes, they soon find themselves being threatened by other survivor groups who are prepared to do whatever it takes to survive. Based on one of the most successful and popular comic books of all time, written by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead vividly captures the tension, drama and devastation following a zombie apocalypse.
Rick Grimes is a former Sheriff's deputy who has been in a coma for several months after being shot while on duty. When he awakens he discovers that the world has been ravished by a zombie epidemic of apocalyptic proportions, and that he seems to be the only person still alive. After returning home to discover his wife and son missing, he heads for Atlanta to search for his family. Narrowly escaping death at the hands of the zombies on arrival in Atlanta he is aided by another survivor, Glenn, who takes Rick to a camp outside the town. There Rick finds his wife Lori and his son, Carl, along with his partner/best friend Shane and a small group of survivors who struggle to fend off the zombie hordes; as well as competing with other surviving groups who are prepared to do whatever it takes to survive in this harsh new world.
Sheriff Deputy Rick Grimes gets shot and falls into a coma. When awoken he finds himself in a Zombie Apocalypse. Not knowing what to do he sets out to find his family, after he's done that he gets connected to a group to become the leader. He takes charge and tries to help this group of people survive, find a place to live, and get them food. This show is all about survival, the risks, and the things you'll have to do to survive. |
