THE FAN: When the San Francisco Giants pay centre-fielder Bobby Rayburn (Wesley Snipes) $40 million to lead their team to the World Series, no one is happier or more supportive than #1 fan Gil Renard (Robert De Niro). So when Rayburn becomes mired in the worst slump of his career, the obsessed Renard stops at nothing to help his idol regain his former glory...not even murder. MIDNIGHT RUN: Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) is a tough ex-cop turned bounty hunter. Jonathan "The Duke" Mardukas (Charles Grodin) is a sensitive accountant who embezzled $15 million from the mob, gave it to charity and then jumped bail. Speculating that their rigidity may be akin to an extreme form of Parkinsonism, he seeks permission from his sceptical superiors to treat them with L-dopa, a drug that was used to treat Parkinson's disease at the time.
