This DVD (and any other DVD released anywhere in the world) will play just fine on any multi-region DVD player, bought in USA or elsewhere. It will also play on most computers' DVD drives. Some consumers actually own a multi-region DVD player, without knowing it. All you need to do if you own such Philips, Akai, CyberHome or other DVD player is to use your remote control to switch it to multi-region mode. As such features are almost always not documented by the DVD player's manufacturer, we'd recommend you check your DVD player's capabilities by searching the web for the words 'videohelp DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes' and choosing the very first link found.
For our USA customers, if you need an advise for a inexpensive ($30-$40) US DVD player, please feel free to contact us or to read our recommenations here: Our DVD player recommendations. Please keep in mind that we do not sell DVD players.

This DVD does not contain pornographic material and may be lawfully sold to and viewed by minors.

However, you can try DVD's menu to turn off subtitles or try 'Subtitles' button on your DVD player's remote control to turn off the subtitles track. Synopsis:
Robert De Niro is an actor, producer and director with a career spanning over 50 years. He is the recipient of various accolades, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. This 10 DVD Collection brings together some of his most acclaimed films. THE FAN: When the San Francisco Giants pay centre-fielder Bobby Rayburn (Wesley Snipes) $40 million to lead their team to the World Series, no one is happier or more supportive than #1 fan Gil Renard (Robert De Niro). So when Rayburn becomes mired in the worst slump of his career, the obsessed Renard stops at nothing to help his idol regain his former glory...not even murder. MIDNIGHT RUN: Jack Walsh (Robert De Niro) is a tough ex-cop turned bounty hunter. Jonathan "The Duke" Mardukas (Charles Grodin) is a sensitive accountant who embezzled $15 million from the mob, gave it to charity and then jumped bail. Jack's in for a cool $100,000 if he can deliver the Duke from New York to L.A. on time and alive. Sounds like just another Midnight Run (a piece of cake in bounty hunter slang), but it turns into a cross-country chase. The FBI is after the Duke to testify--the mob is after him for revenge--and Walsh is after him to just shut-up. If someone else doesn't do the job, the two unlikely partners may end up killing each other. BEING FLYNN: Nick Flynn (Paul Dano) is a young writer seeking to define himself. His father Jonathan (Robert DeNiro), however, scrapes through life on his own terms and has not seen his son in 18 years. Taking a job at a homeless shelter, Nick finds purpose in his own life and work until one night Jonathan arrives seeking a bed. To give the two of them a shot at a real future, Nick wrestles with the notion of reaching out to his dad. MAD DOG AND GLORY: Wayne Dobie (Robert De Niro) is a shy cop whose low-key demeanor has earned him the affectionate nickname "Mad Dog." After Mad Dog saves the life of Frank Milo (Bill Murray), a crime boss and aspiring stand-up comedian, he's offered the company of an attractive young waitress named Glory (Uma Thurman) for a week. At first both are uneasy about the arrangement, but they eventually fall in love. However, the situation becomes complicated when Milo demands Glory back. SLEEPERS: Four teenage friends from Hell's Kitchen end up being sent to reform school after almost killing a man. There they are brutalised by the guards. John (Ron Eldard) and Tommy (Billy Crudup) grow up to be hit men who recognise their abuser years later and kill him. Their trial is prosecuted by another member of their gang, who is now the assistant DA. FALLING IN LOVE: Frank Raftis (Robert De Niro) and Molly Gilmore (Meryl Streep) are two everyday people who meet, first by chance and later by choice. There's just one thing standing between Frank and Molly's intense, newfound love--both are already married, to other people. THE SCORE: When expert safecracker Nick Wells (Robert De Niro) decides it might be time to settle down with his girlfriend Diane (Angela Bassett) and stick to his legitimate business, running a jazz nightclub in Montreal, his friend and partner Max (Marlon Brando) has other plans. Heavily in debt to a crime boss, Max needs Nick to pull one last heist: help novice thief Jack Teller (Edward Norton) steal a sceptre worth $30 million from the House of Customs. Tempted by the $6 million payday, Nick reluctantly agrees to do the job. But what starts out as a safe bet turns into a high risk gamble when a clash of egos threatens to bring them all down. THE LAST TYCOON: Monroe Stahr (Robert De Niro) is a legendary Hollywood producer hailed as a "boy genius" during the studio system of 1930's Hollywood. Stahr blithely contends with neurotic stars (Tony Curtis, Jeanne Moreau), a union organiser (Jack Nicholson), his adversary (Robert Mitchum), a difficult writer (Donald Pleasence), and his mysterious girlfriend (Ingrid Boulting), but his relentless micromanaging may be his undoing. WE'RE NO ANGELS (1989): Ned (Robert De Niro) and Jim (Sean Penn) are convicts who get their shot at freedom when they unexpectedly escape from prison along with a killer. The two fugitives head north towards the Canadian border, but before they can cross over, they get mistaken for priests and decide to go along with the ruse. Taking up residency at the area monastery, the two men awkwardly try not to blow their cover, even as Ned falls for a beautiful local girl, Molly (Demi Moore). AWAKENINGS: The story of a doctor's extraordinary work in the Sixties with a group of catatonic patients he finds languishing in a Bronx hospital. Speculating that their rigidity may be akin to an extreme form of Parkinsonism, he seeks permission from his sceptical superiors to treat them with L-dopa, a drug that was used to treat Parkinson's disease at the time.
