This DVD (and any other DVD released anywhere in the world) will play just fine on any multi-region DVD player, bought in USA or elsewhere. It will also play on most computers' DVD drives. Some consumers actually own a multi-region DVD player, without knowing it. All you need to do if you own such Philips, Akai, CyberHome or other DVD player is to use your remote control to switch it to multi-region mode. As such features are almost always not documented by the DVD player's manufacturer, we'd recommend you check your DVD player's capabilities by searching the web for the words 'videohelp DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes' and choosing the very first link found.
For our USA customers, if you need an advise for a inexpensive ($30-$40) US DVD player, please feel free to contact us or to read our recommenations here: Our DVD player recommendations. Please keep in mind that we do not sell DVD players.

This DVD does not contain pornographic material and may be lawfully sold to and viewed by minors.

However, you can try DVD's menu to turn off subtitles or try 'Subtitles' button on your DVD player's remote control to turn off the subtitles track. Synopsis:
Robert Redford is a Hollywood legend; he is recognized the world over for the roles he has played and the projects he has directed or produced throughout a distinguished stage and film career. He has won numerous film awards, including an Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2002. This 10 DVD Collection brings together some of his most acclaimed films. SNEAKERS: Computer expert Martin Bishop (Robert Redford) heads a team of renegade hackers including a former CIA employee (Sidney Poitier), a gadgets wizard (Dan Aykroyd), a young genius (River Phoenix) and a blind soundman (David Strathairn), who are routinely hired to test security systems. When government agents blackmail the "sneakers" into carrying out a covert mission of tracking down a top-secret black box, Bishop's team find themselves embroiled in a dangerous operation. Along with his former girlfriend (Mary McDonnell), they make a stunning discovery--the device has the capability to decode all existing encryption systems around the world. With factions from all sides willing to murder for the box, Bishop and his team embark on their most dangerous assignment ever. LEGAL EAGLES: Chelsea Deardon (Daryl Hannah) is arrested for stealing artwork painted by her deceased father, and sympathetic attorney Laura Kelly (Debra Winger) sets out to defend the young woman against slick prosecutor Tom Logan (Robert Redford). After a series of romantic exchanges, Tom ends up falling in love with Laura and teaming up with her to help clear Chelsea of the charges. However, as they lawyers dig deeper into the case, things take a shocking turn, and Tom finds his career in jeopardy. THE GREAT GATSBY: Nick Carraway (Sam Waterston) is a young man from the Midwest living modestly among the decadent mansions of 1920's Long Island. He becomes involved in the life of the mysterious Jay Gatsby (Robert Redford), a rich man who throws the most lavish parties on the island. But behind Gatsby's outgoing demeanour is a lonely man who wants nothing more than to be with his old love, Daisy (Mia Farrow). She is married to the bull-headed Tom (Bruce Dern), creating a love triangle that will end in tragedy. THE LAST CASTLE: A respected and decorated general's career ends in disgrace when he disobeys orders and is sent to a maximum-security prison dubbed the Castle. Perceiving the injustice at work within the prison system, he rallies his fellow convicts into a rag-tag army and mounts a revolt against the autocratic warden, who runs the institution with an iron fist. THE ELECTRIC HORSEMAN: A former champion rodeo rider is reduced to using his saddle skills to promote a breakfast cereal in a gaudy Las Vegas show. When he's asked to perform with a $12 million horse that he discovers is being doped to remain docile, he flees into the desert astride the beast in an act of defiance. A story-hungry female reporter gives chase. TELL THEM WILLIE BOY IS HERE: While confronting the disapproving father of his girlfriend, Lola (Katharine Ross), Native American man Willie Boy (Robert Blake) kills the man in self-defence. Forced to go on the run, the couple is pursued by Deputy Sheriff Christopher Cooper (Robert Redford), who is somewhat empathetic to their plight, and a group of cold, calculating bounty hunters. As the pursuit continues, the situation grows increasingly tense, with Willie Boy and Cooper headed for a standoff. THE GREAT WALDO PEPPER: Aerial tale set in the 1920's about a travelling aviator whose exaggerations look set to be discovered when he begins work on a film with a pilot with whom he claims to have done battle. Having told colourful stories of wartime combat with the notorious German flying ace, the two men fortunately find a mutual respect, which culminates in a spectacular dogfight. THE STING: Following the murder of a mutual friend, aspiring con man Johnny Hooker (Robert Redford) teams up with old pro Henry Gondorff (Paul Newman) to take revenge on the ruthless crime boss responsible, Doyle Lonnegan (Robert Shaw). Hooker and Gondorff set about implementing an elaborate scheme, one so crafty that Lonnegan won't even know he's been swindled. As their big con unfolds, however, things don't go according to plan, requiring some last-minute improvisation by the undaunted duo. THIS PROPERTY IS CONDEMNED: Alva (Natalie Wood) is a radiant Southern belle who clashes with her oppressive mother, Hazel (Kate Reid). Hazel is trying to force Alva to take an affluent husband, but the young woman has eyes for Owen Legate (Robert Redford), a handsome city slicker visiting their tiny Mississippi town. Hazel disapproves of Owen and forces him to stop seeing her daughter. In an act of revenge, Alva takes up with her mother's beau, J.J. (Charles Bronson). BAREFOOT IN THE PARK: Newlyweds Corie (Jane Fonda), a free spirit, and Paul Bratter (Robert Redford), an uptight lawyer, share a sixth-floor apartment in Greenwich Village. Soon after their marriage, Corie tries to find a companion for mother, Ethel (Mildred Natwick), who is now alone, and sets up Ethel with neighbour Victor (Charles Boyer). Inappropriate behaviour on a double date causes conflict, and the young couple considers divorce.
