My dad was employed by the Curtiss Candy Co. from the mid 50's thru 1961 when Curtiss Candy had it's own trucks and drivers on the road.  I know the age of this sign because it was found with the wire racks in the upper level of the garage at the family home which was only used as a warehouse when my dad worked for Curtiss in the 50's.  This sign would have been at the top of a wire rack holding bags of Curtiss Nuts and Candies most likely in a tavern or bar.  Note the 3 Bear  humor....baby bear crying...."Who's been eating my Curtiss Salted Nuts."  This sign is printed on heavier card stock and is 9 1/2" X 4 1/2."  Please be sure to check out pictures before bidding on this item.

And do let me know if you need one of those wire racks that these signs graced...I still have a couple left.

All proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to Mano a Mano International Partners working in partnership with rural Bolivian communities for over 25 years building medical clinics, schools, roads and water projects.  Every dollar you spend on this item will send a pound of medical supplies to Bolivia.  Add this neat bit of candy history to your collection or your home and help others thousands of miles away.  A beautiful win in both cases.
