We recommend our adjustable kickstand. See our other listings for them and our discount kits. Keep in mind if your motorcycle is lowered, the frame will be closer to the ground. The kickstand is mounted to the frame and will need to be shortened to retain the lean angle the bike needs to keep from tipping over.
Our turnbuckle style lowering link will adjust the rear of the bike infinitely between stock height and a -4 inch drop. No need to remove the link from the bike. Simply loosen the nuts and rotate the center hex body. Never again will you need to remove bolts and find a way to hold the bike up while you are doing it! The body is silver zinc plated steel or stainless steel, NOT aluminum. Aluminum threads DO NOT last and are dangerous! The ends have a 1/2" thread and are zinc plated steel for strength and corrosion resistance. The ball bearing is hardened steel with a Teflon race. There are also 4 inserts that make up the difference in the diameter and length of the stock bearing setup. We manufacture, assemble, market and sell these links that is why we can offer them at such a great price.
Our links are the same thickness as the stock links. That means your stock bolts and nuts are retained and the locking element of the nuts will still be engaged. Some of our competition use a thicker than stock link and the locking element is no longer engaged. DANGEROUS!

*A note about our competition* Most of the other threaded style adjustable links on the market are NOT turnbuckle style, like ours. What this means is in order to make an adjustment, the bike still requires supporting the rear end, removing the link mounting bolts, adjusting the link, then reinstalling, only to hope you have achieved your desired ride height. With our products, this IS NOT required! After our links are installed, making ride height adjustments are as simple as turning the center hex body!
If you see that our competition has components that are colored, those parts are probably anodized ALUMINUM and ALUMINUM threads are not nearly as strong as the STEEL that our links are made from. THEY WILL FAIL!
*A note about 3 hole lowering links* Although these lowering links have 3 holes, they actually offer only one that is usable. The first hole is equal to stock height (useless) and the third hole will usually rub the rear tire on the inside of the rear fender when the bike hits a bump. This leaves you with the second hole only. If you want to fine-tune the ride height of your bike to fit you, these are the adjustable links that you need!
