You are bidding on a large, very rare original antique print from an 1870s French illustrated journal.

It depicts a beautiful Wetterhoun Frisian Water Dog or Stabyhoun (Stabij) dog diving into the water to retrieve ducks during a hunt in Holland.

The caption reads:  Les halbrans du comte d'ansembourg en holland

It is very large (folio size), measuring approximately 10.5 x 14.5 inches (26.5 x 36.5 cm). The picture area is about 8.4 x 5.4 inches, with a French caption below and text surrounding it. The text could easily be trimmed before framing.

The page is in excellent condition for its age. There is text/photos on the back of the print. See scan for an accurate view of the condition.

This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
